Membership Options

The Club offers a range of membership options to suit most player’s requirements. Membership gives you unlimited access to the clubs playing facilities allowing you to play unlimited Squash or Racketball. There are no light or court fees to pay as they are included in your all-inclusive membership fee. The club room bar is open from 6.30pm each weekday evening (except Bank holidays) and sells reasonably priced drinks and snacks for members and their guests. Our wide selection of drinks and snacks has been selected to cater for most tastes. The Club room can also be hired for private functions and additional space can be provided upon request.

*Restricted membership allows you to book courts at all times EXCEPT weekday evenings from 17:15 – 19:45 hrs unless a £5.00 supplementary court fee is paid by the restricted member.

**Junior  (16 or under) / Student (16 - 21 = Sixth Form / College / University)

*** Social Membership allows you to use the clubs facilities but not the courts unless you pay a £5.00 Guest fee per game.

New members who join after the start of the current membership year will pay a pro rata fee for the remaining full calendar months. Exp. January – August = 8 x £22.50 = £180

Club Entry

Entry to the club can be obtained 24/7 using the membership card/fob you will be issued with - just hold it against the black box on the brickwork to the left of the door and it will operate the lock allowing access.  Please ensure that the door locks shut behind you on entry and exit. If you are the last to leave please switch off the entrance lobby lights, the switch is next to the exit sensor.

Court Bookings

These can be booked up to a week in advance via our website. If you book a court and are unable to play the booking must be cancelled as soon as possible. Persistent offenders will be liable to court fines. If a court is not booked and empty you may use it but please book online prior to commencing your game.


Both hot and cold drinks plus snacks are available during weekday evening opening hours 6.30 to 8.30pm, however the bar will stay open later if required. There is Free Wi-Fi and a Contactless / Chip & Pin card payment system. Grips and balls are for sale and a racket restring service is available on request, just ask the bar staff for details.  Social events take place on a regular basis including Race Nights, Bingo, Summer Outdoor Games Day, Christmas Quiz & Prize Draw Night as well as a members organised Poker Night on the last Friday of every month - at which you and your guests are most welcome to attend.

The court playing time is 60 minutes. Indoor court shoes with non-marking soles must be worn.  If you are a beginner please do not be afraid to ask for help or guidance from any of our club coaches. A copy of Squash & Racketball rules can be found in the bar and downstairs corridor.  Used playing attire must not be worn in the bar for any length of time.

Internal Leagues

You are welcome to join the internal monthly leagues, this is a great way of meeting other members and quickly establishing your playing standard within the club. Squash Leagues generally consist of 5 players and Racketball 4 players. The leagues are played on a per calender month basis and are displayed in the bottom corridor league notice board - if you would like to join the leagues then just add your name and contact details to the league list and you will be included the following month.


The annual club knockout competitions start in November culminating in a series of age group finals in April. Every member is eligible to enter just add your name to the list / lists most relevant to you on the leagues notice board. Who knows you may make it all the way and be lifting a Trophy in April and having your name added to the club competition winners board.
