Spalding and District squash club offers a range of membership options to suit a wide range of people. Membership (within the restrictions) gives you access to all the clubs facilities and allows you to play unlimited squash. There are no light fees at the club to pay, light fees are included in the membership. The bar is open from 7pm each night and supplies cut price drinks for members and their guests. Our wide selection of drinks and snacks means there is something for everyone. The bar area can also be hired at a small nominal charge for private functions and additional space can be provided subject to requirements.

Entry to the club can be obtained 24/7 using the membership card you will be issued with - just hold it against the blue spot marked on the brickwork to the left of the door and it will operate the lock allowing access. Please ensure that the door locks shut when you leave and all lights are turned off if you are last to leave.
These can be booked up to a week in advance - booking sheets are displayed in the corridor during the day and at the bar Monday to Fridays 7pm-11pm. Just call the clubhouse during bar opening times or book a court by visiting the club. If you book a court and are unable to play the booking must be cancelled or you are liable to a court fine. If a court is not booked and empty you may use it.
Both cold and hot drinks are available Monday to Friday 7pm-11pm. Grips and balls are for sale and a racket restring service is available, just ask the bar staff for details. Social events take place on a regular basis; i.e. poker and quiz nights at which you and your guests are most welcome to attend - keep an eye on the social notice board for event details.
The court playing time is 45 minutes. Squash shoes with non-marking soles are essential. If you are a beginner please do not be afraid to ask for help or guidance, we do not have many members that will bite your head off! We have a coach who is available for beginners and juniors. A copy of squash rules can be found in the bar and bottom corridor. Playing attire must not be worn in the bar.
You are welcome to join the internal monthly leagues, this is a great way of meeting other members and quickly establishing your playing standard within the club. Leagues consist of 5 players, are played on a 4 week basis and are displayed in the bottom corridor - just add your name and contact details to the league list and you will be included the following month.
There are various competitions, which run predominantly during the winter season, add your name to the list displayed in the bottom corridor at the appropriate time.
