Due to the latest guidance from the Government regarding Covid 19 (Coronovirus) the committee have taken the decision to cancel the forthcoming event on Friday evening (20th March) and re-schedule later in the year.

Race Night with Fish and Chip Supper

Our next social event the ever popular Race Night taking place on the evening of Friday 20th March.

Rob, Gary, Ray and Steve will be your trackside hosts so come along and have a great evening of Horse racing entertainment.

Maximum stake is £1.00 per horse per race with our Tote bookmaker.

The evening concludes with a very competitive auction round.

The paddock opens at 6.45 with the first race getting under ‘Starters orders’ at 7.30pm.

Your £6.00 gate fee includes a Fish & Chip supper from the award winning vegetarian friendly  ‘Oh my Cod’ chip shop and will be served at approximately 8.45pm.

Additionally we will be holding an Easter egg raffle with all profits being donated to local charities.

Sign up without delay on the poster in the downstairs corridor social events notice board or alternatively ring the club bar (01775 725903) on weekday evenings between 7 – 8.30pm and the bar person will add your details to the sign-up sheet for you.

Due to floor space limitations we will have to limit the number of punters to 60 so sign up early to guarantee your table.

Outdoor Games Day

Following the success of the last Games Day we are in the process of organising our next Games Day. Provisionally to be held on Saturday 11th July 2020. Further details to follow...

Monthly Poker Nights

We currently hold a members poker night on the final Friday of each month starting at 8pm.

The game is Standard NL Texas Hold-em Poker and the format is £10 buy in plus one £10 re-buy allowed within the first hour. If you have not used your rebuy option you can then add-on for £10 at the end of the first hour. For more information please have a word with Gary Slator or email us.
